Retrospective of the 2012 PROTEO conference By: matthieu chartier May 25 2012
Last friday, Sherbrooke welcomed students and speakers from Québec and around the world. The successful 2012 PROTEO meeting was held at the Vieux Clocher de Sherbrooke. More than 60 posters, 3 student talks and 6 invited speaker presentations were presented.
We wish to congratulate Vincent Frappier and Dominic Duchêne from the NRG group which have both received prizes:
Vincent Frappier received an award for his oral presentation "ENCoM, a new structure and sequence dependent normal mode analysis model".
Dominic Duchêne received a prize for his poster "In silico development of a new series of matriptase inhibitors".
PROTEO, The Quebec Network for Research on Protein Function, Structure, and Engineering (formerly CREFSIP),is a network of 33 research teams from seven universities working on every aspects of proteins, from their chemistry to their physiological roles.
